Daily utilization and updating of Salesforce as a CRM tool
Develop profitable new business account relationships and increase profitability from existing accounts by selling Merchant Services (Visa/MC/Discover/American Express processing) to Small/Medium Size businesses
Identify business opportunities based on knowledge of clients, markets, products, and services
Learn and develop expert-level knowledge of company products and services
Present to prospective clients informing them of benefits of using the organization's products and services to meet their needs
Implement and maintain an effective referral network and call program to promote sales
Receive guidance and training in a remote environment and achieve daily objectives as set forth by your manager
Travel in-market 3-4 days per week to meet prospective clients and bank partners
Requirements
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Two to three years of relevant sales experience
Ability to travel 3-4 days per week in market (overnights rarely required)
No experience with Merchant Services required; strong sales experience and willingness to learn
Expert knowledge of product marketing, client service issues and organization operations (preferred)
Excellent marketing, business development/sales and negotiating skills (preferred)
Ability to creatively resolve complex problems with general guidance (preferred)
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills (preferred)
Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills (preferred)
Working knowledge of Salesforce
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies and procedures and pass background checks; participation in E-Verify where applicable
