About the role
- Drive resourcing strategy to align team capabilities with project needs, ensuring optimal placement of team members for both individual and client success.
- Collaborate with project managers, team leads, and stakeholders to address resource gaps and proactively resolve conflicts.
- Assess and plan future resource requirements based on current and upcoming project pipelines.
- Lead the rollout and adoption of Parallax or other resourcing software, ensuring smooth integration into operations.
- Train and support team members, establish best practices, and troubleshoot issues.
- Utilize staffing and workforce planning tools (e.g., PowerBI) to influence decisions and drive utilization.
- Partner with Salesforce, Talent, HR, Finance, and Operations teams to meet project budgets, timelines, and success metrics.
- Serve as a liaison between operational teams to ensure smooth communication and alignment on priorities.
- Build awareness of individual performance goals and development needs across business units.
- Generate, analyze, and present resourcing and operational reports for senior management.
- Monitor KPIs related to project utilization, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform resourcing decisions.
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives to support business growth and team development.
- Identify and implement process improvements in resourcing and operational workflows.
- Make resourcing decisions that balance business needs with individual skill development.
Requirements
- 4+ years in resource management, project management, or related operations role, ideally in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Experience with resource management tools (e.g., Parallax, workforce planning software) and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills across teams and functions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, initiative, and ability to drive positive change.
