About the role
- Lead product development initiatives on our SAP S/4HANA platform and associated applications.
- Manage end-to-end product lifecycles (ideation, design, development, testing, launch, adoption, support).
- Define and communicate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Oversee formulation and prioritisation of product initiatives informed by commercial, financial, and operational analysis.
- Act as owner of the Global Template for the applicable functional area(s) and maintain design/delivery standards.
- Oversee functional design and delivery of Enhancements, Projects, Programmes and Support for the domain area.
- Act as primary liaison between business functions, technology, operations, and executive teams.
- Establish and monitor key product and business metrics to support data-informed decision-making.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business analysts, functional experts, and other relevant team members.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Role may require travel within South Africa and some travel abroad; reports to Director Enterprise Applications.
Requirements
- End-to-end understanding of business and technical disciplines enabling solution design.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end SAP solutions across disciplines.
- Familiarity with SAP delivery methodologies.
- Capable communicator across technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
- Adept in managing diverse, global teams within complex and challenging environments.
- Relationship builder – internal and external.
- Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- SAP S/4HANA certifications in the applicable functional area(s); additional module certifications.
- SAP S/4HANA LE and Manufacturing modules with solution design and delivery experience.
- Proficiency in BRF+, Batch Management, Materials Management, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Shipping, Warehouse Management, Detailed Scheduling.
- SAP integration (e.g. IDOCs/APIs with 3PLs and related SAP modules).
- Multiple full lifecycle implementations required.
- Nice to have CPG experience.
