About the role

  • Design & deliver technical/functional solutions against specifications and blueprints according to agreed standards and procedures
  • Design processes and planning; support documentation and implementation of new functionalities and improvements
  • Complete unit and integration testing of developments within agreed timescales
  • Communicate internally with business users and externally with other entities
  • Collaborate with IT teams, local business and regional teams to detect dependencies, plan processes and resolve blockages
  • Complete detailed solution documentation for functional solutions
  • Provide technical expertise in systems applications within the nominated function
  • Provide solutions for financial flow issues and maintain data transfer in SAP through various applications
  • Involved in staff training and continuous improvement of implementation methodology
  • Deliver multiple projects concurrently and undertake other reasonable duties as required
  • Maintain a high level of functionality for financial processes in the company

Requirements

  • Subject Matter Expert for SAP FI Module
  • Minimum of 3-7 years experience in SAP FI functional Development and Support
  • SAP implementation experience for specific FI module, full project lifecycle
  • Solid experience of systems development and project management methodologies
  • Deep understanding of processes in SAP ECC Financial modules: SAP GL, AP, AR, AA, Banks, CO
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP FI module functionalities, configuration, and integration with other SAP modules
  • Experience with design, implementation and testing processes
  • Experience integrating SAP GL modules with MM, SD, PM and FICO sub-modules
  • Good knowledge of RO specific legislation (SAF-T, e-factura, etc.)
  • Experience designing, implementing and managing processes for interfacing and data transfer between SAP and other applications
  • Strong knowledge of Business Processes
  • Previous experience on IT projects
  • English language knowledge is a must
  • Ability to travel on site in Romania, if required
  • Nice to have: IFRS knowledge, Plant maintenance, Investment management, Real estate modules, experience on SAP 4 HANA implementation
