About the role
- Design, lead, and evolve high-visibility talent development programs, including individual contributor offerings, aligned to business and talent strategies.
- Act as an advisor to HRBPs and senior stakeholders to assess capability gaps and propose targeted development solutions.
- Own program success end-to-end from needs assessment and instructional design (ADDIE/SAM) to global facilitation, measurement, and iteration.
- Define a global learning content strategy and operationalize it via a Twilio-wide Learning Council to address critical skill gaps.
- Apply expert-level knowledge of learning science and AI to develop solutions that resonate across global audiences.
- Act as the primary lead for the external learning ecosystem. This includes selecting vendors, negotiating contracts/SOWs, and ensuring the quality and integration of all outsourced learning solutions.
- Drive participation in development programs through effective communication, incentives, and support for internal career mobility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or professional certifications in HR/OD preferred.
- 10+ years in L&D, program design, and facilitation, with at least 7+ years in digital learning innovation.
- 2+ years of experience specifically applying AI in L&D and 4+ years in instructional design.
- Proven track record managing vendor partnerships and navigating the learning tech ecosystem.
- Strong experience with learning analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to drive data-informed decisions.
- Track record of leading cross-functional pilots from concept to scaled implementation in fast-paced environments.
- Executive presence with the ability to communicate project plans and development outcomes to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience managing vendor partnerships in the learning tech ecosystem.
- Comfort operating independently and making high-impact decisions in ambiguous environments.
- Willingness to travel for in-person training (approx. one trip per quarter).
