Support consolidation of the demo platform across Communications and Segment and design the unified full-stack demo platform
Create, maintain, and design frontend and backend codebases for presales/templatized demos and configurable demo environments
Build comprehensive web applications and product demos that solve business use cases for Solutions Engineers to leverage in customer facing calls
Build and maintain Twilio’s demo platform, demo environments and demo tooling, including integrations with partner technology
Develop visually appealing, interactive demo environments empowering AEs and SEs to provide self-service demos
Stay abreast of new products and incorporate updates into demo environments to showcase latest features
Apply first principle thinking to reimagine how Twilio’s products can be built and demonstrated
Gather feedback from end users and use insights to continuously enhance and refine demo content and delivery
Partner closely with Enterprise Architects and Solution Acceleration Architects and report to Senior Manager, Demo Platform Engineering to drive cross-sell and multiproduct adoption
Requirements
5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web frameworks and integrating SaaS platforms
Experience learning, understanding and communicating complex technical concepts to crossfunctional stakeholders
Strong knowledge of Javascript/Typescript including experience using Node and React
Working knowledge of architecting and building agentic applications using latest technologies including MCP and frameworks such as Langchain
Experience developing and deploying full stack, web-based applications with a focus on creating intuitive user interfaces and seamless user experiences
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering projects with tight deadlines and incomplete information
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multiple cross-functional stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, GCP, AWS (desired)
Familiarity with the CPaaS API space, working with Twilio’s APIs, and prior CPaaS coding experience (desired)
Experience with React, NextJS or similar frameworks (desired)
Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases and database management (desired)
Passion for building AI native applications and knowledge of data infrastructure and new AI frameworks (desired)
