About the role
- Act as the first point of contact for employees across regions, addressing questions related to time tracking, payroll, benefits, leave, and policy.
- Own payroll processing across the US, UK, and France, including validation of timekeeping, pay changes, deductions, and employee inquiries.
- Maintain payroll documentation and reporting to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve discrepancies and bring recommendations for improving payroll operations.
- Serve as a key point of contact for benefits enrollment, employee questions, and vendor issue resolution across regions.
- Support open enrollment, life event changes, and ongoing administration, ensuring accuracy across payroll and vendor systems.
- Coordinate leave of absence, accommodations, and workers’ compensation processes with clear employee communication and proper documentation.
- Reconcile benefit deductions and invoices in partnership with Finance.
- Support global HR compliance, audits, unemployment claims, and documentation practices to ensure operational and regulatory alignment.
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc People Ops reporting and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
Requirements
- Hybrid role requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week in the office.
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in People Operations, HR coordination role, inclusive of internship experience.
- Strong understanding of core HR functions.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives across different time zones.
- Experience with BambooHR (preferred) or similar HRIS platforms; confident working with spreadsheets and basic reporting tools.
- Proactive, reliable, and resourceful—with a continuous improvement mindset and strong follow-through.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and empathetic approach to employee support.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling company or global environment is a strong plus.
