About the role
- Maintain/manage physical & virtual servers, oversee storage systems, and implement/manage cloud services
- Monitor performance, implement improvements, and perform system updates/patches
- Implement security measures, conduct audits, and perform vulnerability assessments
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans; ensure backups and recovery processes are tested
- Provide second-level support and resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation
- Work under the guidance of the IT Manager to support business operations by ensuring reliable and secure infrastructure
Requirements
- 5–7 years in IT infrastructure management
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Strong understanding of server & storage systems
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure)
- Proficiency in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring & management tools
- Knowledge of network protocols/services
- Problem-solving & troubleshooting expertise
- Experience with security best practices & compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR)
- Strong documentation & communication skills
- Preferred: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, VMware Certified Professional, CompTIA Server+
