About the role
- At Truelogic, a nearshore staff augmentation provider partnering with U.S. companies; client is a challenger holding company built to transform marketing.
- Senior Accountant responsible for leading aspects of accounting at the Corporate entity providing Shared Services to Brands in the Stagwell network.
- Perform management reporting functions and provide monthly financial results analysis to heads of Shared Services.
- Balance sheet account reconciliation and prepare general ledger account analyses.
- Maintain revenue recognition processes and revenue, WIP and deferred revenue schedules.
- Reconcile all bank accounts monthly with Staff Accountants.
- Aggregate and record month end expense accruals and prepare month end journal entries.
- Manage and reconcile all intercompany transactions.
- Research and resolve open items on balance sheet reconciliations; support month end ancillary package and Hyperion trial balance uploads.
- Serve as back-up for various Shared Service areas; assist with internal/external audits, ad hoc requests, and development/maintenance of internal controls.
Requirements
- Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software preferred (SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, Net Suite, Maconomy, etc).
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Basic understanding of the technical aspects of account analyses and financial statements.
- Must be able to reconcile accounts and be able to perform GL analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of Accounting experience.
- Basic Excel skills required (Sumif, Vlookup, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to set priorities, multi-task, meet critical deadlines and pay attention to detail.
- Highly organized and motivated self-starter with good interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent English Level.
