About the role
- Develop and implement comprehensive supply chain strategies for procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and logistics
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Lead the monthly S&OP process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, inventory, and financial goals
- Collaborate with commercial, operations, and finance teams to develop accurate, data-driven demand forecasts and sales projections
- Manage procurement of metal and other direct materials
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize inventory levels
- Support transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery
- Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Evaluate and leverage technology solutions to enhance supply chain visibility, agility, and efficiency
- Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management or a related field
- At least five years in leadership
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team to achieve supply chain objectives
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their applications in supply chain planning
- Certification in supply chain management is a plus.
