About the role
- Ensure Shipcheck tasking and funding support SIDs delivery milestones
- Review Planning Yard shipcheck execution reports and provide recommendations
- Assist NSWC AP communications with RMC and SURFMEPP to ensure discovered TYCOM responsible repairs are programmed appropriately
- Ensure SIDs development tasking and funding to support avail execution planning milestones
- Participate in design development and provide technical input for LARs/RLARs as required
- Ensure LLTM is tasked in support of avail execution milestones and assist in obtaining difficult LLTM for installations
- Assist ISEA in de-conflicting material issues related to avail execution
- Participate in TDP reviews and discussions with CS Modernization Integrator for inclusion of design developments
- Coordinate ICD updates with ISEA POCs, CS Integrator and Planning Yard to support TDP revision(s) and SIDs milestones
- Provide advice for installation problem resolution and liaison with RMC or other activities
- Participate in design, planning, progress, process improvement and cross program meetings (DDG 2.0, MADWG, ARWG)
- Review RMC and Third Party Advance Planning work specification products to ensure correct tasking
- Assist EW and Decoys Installation Managers with work specification requirement interpretation
- Advise Installation and Program Managers on risks and mitigations
- Interface with Planning Yard representatives to resolve installation issues for future availabilities
- Collaborate with ISEA, OSR and OSIC on work item requirements and installation issues arising during installations
- Provide RCC instruction and justification for work item changes during installations
- Coordinate with OSR and OSIC on advance planning readiness for execution
- Review and provide input regarding contractor reports submitted during installations
- Provide inputs for cost estimates and realism on required contract changes during in-process availabilities
- Review in-process availability reports and provide assistance on installation issues
- Interface with ISEA personnel on various aspects of advance planning and execution of alterations
Requirements
- Bachelors degree or higher
- PMP is a plus
- Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
- Experience with installation support for MK-59, AN/SLQ-32(V)7, and AN/SLQ-32(V)6 programs
- Experience overseeing installation support activities, planning yard coordination, and advance planning
- Experience coordinating with Regional Maintenance Center (RMC), SURFMEPP, ISEA, OSR, OSIC, and Planning Yards
- Experience providing technical input for LARs/RLARs and participating in TDP reviews
- Experience preparing inputs for cost estimates and Request for Contract Change (RCC) justification
- Familiarity with work specification review and interpretation
- Ability to liaise with contractors and program managers
