About the role
- Oversees delivery of effective Spiritual Care services
- Manages and coaches chaplains across the continuum of care
- Provides direct service as a chaplain
- Collaborates with the Director of Spiritual Care for talent development
- Assists in accessing necessary resources for implementation of priorities
- Models effective chaplain skills in providing services
- Promotes use of Trinity Health Leadership System in planning and implementing activities
- Oversees standard best practices for Spiritual Care assessments and interventions
Requirements
- Must be a Board Certified Chaplain (BCC)
- Completion of a Master of Divinity or an equivalent degree
- 4 units (1600 hours) of ACPE Spiritual Care
- At least three (3) years of professional team/project leadership experience
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience managing projects
- Pastoral experience required
- At least one (1) year of experience in a healthcare ministry preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong aptitude in project leadership and budgetary management
