About the role

  • Lead the establishment and ongoing operation of the Trimble Data Management Office, from charter definition to high-impact stakeholder communication.
  • Build and manage the Data Governance Council, identifying key stewards and providing the training needed to champion data excellence.
  • Oversee high-stakes metadata initiatives, including customer data cleanup and the migration of complex systems into a unified data ecosystem.
  • Drive the implementation of a comprehensive data catalog, documenting lineage and definitions to make data accessible and actionable.
  • Develop data quality scorecards and enforce lifecycle controls to ensure our data is secure, classified, and compliant.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Project Management, Program Coordination, or Business Analysis, ideally within a technical or data-heavy environment.
  • Strong understanding of metadata management principles and data lifecycle management, including access controls and retention policies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with a proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to complex data ecosystems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
