About the role
- Serve as the expert on National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) standards within the payer EDI business product team.
- Contribute to the development of VHA Payer EDI NCPDP standards through active participation in integrated project teams.
- Collaborate directly with EDI SMEs as part of the development team, as well as working with technical SMEs.
- Provide insights and guidance to project staff on specific NCPDP technical and functional issues related to pharmacy standards.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of total experience with at least four years working in EDI in a technical position in a healthcare organization.
- Expert in the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (NCPDP) standards and their application in healthcare data exchange
- Extensive experience in healthcare data exchange processes
- Ability to communicate clearly with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
- The ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
