About the role
- Support active candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide a best-in-class candidate experience from first contact to onboarding
- Act as an ambassador of Trillium Health Partners, participate in events to improve our employer brand strategy
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with hiring leaders and partners to ensure a solid understanding of current and future recruitment needs
- Partner with hiring leaders to support them in attracting, sourcing, selecting and acquiring talent
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from posting to onboarding
- Participate in the interview process, creating/editing interview guides, supporting as a panelist as required
- Work within and support optimization of our Human Resources Information System (Oracle and UKG)
- Maintain Electronic files for Recruitment
- Develop and deliver recruitment initiatives including but not limited to job fairs, student recruitment initiatives, etc.
- Liaise with hiring leaders to leverage ministry funded programs to attract and retain talent
- Creatively source candidates for positions utilizing a variety of recruitment channels such as social media, networking, online job boards, etc.
- Work with unionized and non-union positions alike
- Work with the unique aspects of healthcare recruitment such as the Keller process, global shortage of talent, high skill and volume hiring
- Develop new and creative ideas to help improve processes and create synergies between Recruitment and other functions at THP
Requirements
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources or similar field, or relevant work experience.
- Minimum three to five years of human resources experience working in a recruitment function.
- Sound working knowledge and experience with recruitment practices and principles including Provincial legislation (Human Rights, Employment Standards, AODA, Health and Safety), Collective Agreement knowledge and the ability to effectively interpret and apply accordingly.
- Strong relationship management skills with experience in partnering, influencing, coaching and building credibility with managers and the human resource team.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Proven track record of delivering results and commitment to excellence;
- Working knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Able to perform under changing and tight deadlines
- RPR, CHRL, or CHRP designation preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to develop and deliver projects, tools and resources;
- Knowledge of current health care issues and trends is an asset
