Work collaboratively with teams across the organization to support transformative initiatives, processes and policy development designed to achieve the hospital’s strategic plan goals.
Support corporate strategy development, planning and the development, coordination and management of the hospital’s corporate planning cycle.
Participate in integrated cross-functional teams to provide enhanced understanding of business issues through strategy-focused operational intelligence, analysis and facilitation.
Support strategic plan performance, corporate initiative monitoring, and status reporting to all levels of the organization.
Participate in the execution and support specific elements of key strategic projects and support development of in-house project management knowledge and best practices.
Create and deliver presentations and proposals to senior management, Board of Directors and external audiences.
Engage and communicate with stakeholders and liaise with regional, provincial and/or private sector partners to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.
Requirements
Ideal candidates must have an undergraduate degree; business, life sciences, or related discipline preferred.
Masters degree in public health/healthcare administration, business administration, or equivalent experience considered an asset.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare environment working with complex and dynamic teams.
Strong understanding of the hospital’s strategic plan.
Strong analytical, problem solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong leadership, adaptability, interpersonal and collaboration skills are essential.
Excellent organizational, time management and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to multi task and prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong presentation skills.
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft suite skills is essential.
