About the role
- Plan and manage end-to-end delivery of IT infrastructure projects (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
- Coordinate across engineers, system admins, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Define project business requirements, scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
- Monitor progress to ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintain documentation: project plans, RAID logs, reports, and post-mortems.
- Identify and mitigate risks; manage issues as they arise.
- Provide clear status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure deployments meet compliance, security, and performance requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendors for sourcing and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of IT project management experience with focus on infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure domains: networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud (AWS/Azure), and data centers.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira, Asana, Smartsheet).
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
- Preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
- Preferred: ITIL Foundation certification.
- Preferred: Extensive experience in network, server, and telecommunications projects.
- Preferred: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
