About the role
- Full life-cycle sourcing, recruiting, and placement of qualified drivers to fill open orders for TransForce customers.
- Utilize various internal and external sources to find candidates and ensure ongoing customer success.
- Deliver on regional objectives to contribute to company success and sustained growth of Driver Count.
- Provide best-in-class safety and compliance and develop strategy for onboarding and retaining drivers.
- Foster employer-of-choice environment and support learning culture using OKR process to propagate best practices.
- Collaborate with Sales partners, Market Manager, Driver Hiring Specialist, and Operations to ensure proper placement and retention.
- Seek local sources for high-quality applicants and build community relationships to promote TransForce brand.
- Prioritize complete applications, interview and sell drivers on Employment Solutions, and explain benefits and open orders.
- Generate reports and maintain recruiting and candidate data in all company systems.
- Maintain daily contact with drivers during in-processing and perform check calls to reduce turnover risk.
- Utilize market data and escalate compensation concerns to leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Work experience may be substituted for education.
- 2 years of successful recruiting experience desired.
- Sales or customer service experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of general recruiting fundamentals.
- General knowledge of applicable employment and transportation regulations.
- Requires superior relationship building skills, strong communications, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proficiencies in Microsoft Office and web-based software.
