About the role
- Serve as conduit for information between operations, sales, and the customer
- Support tickets, requests, lead escalation, quotes, and status of items
- Independently communicate with customers and prioritize work
- Control service workflow and document job status
- Drive high quality customer deliverables and post sales customer functions relating to calibration service support
- Advise customers of status/completion dates, contact for estimates and purchase orders
- Answer customer billing, delivery, ship date questions
- Generate purchase orders for parts and services
- Maintain department files and records
- Coordinate daily driver pickup/delivery schedule
- Process units into calibration lab software and prepare shipping paperwork
- Assist in shipping/receiving and TMS processing
- Backup for onsite coordination
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Must be able to work with others
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be detail oriented
- Minimum of a High school diploma or GED OR one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably in a technical environment.
