About the role
- Take ownership of product quality across UI, internal logic, API, business features, and infrastructure resilience
- Perform manual and automated testing at all levels: API, database, business logic
- Create and maintain test cases, checklists, test scenarios, and coverage metrics
- Write and run automated tests using Python
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and developers
- Gain deep understanding of product architecture and participate in technical discussions and requirement refinement
- Work as part of a backend team building a high-load web product used daily by millions of users
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in QA
- Solid understanding of testing principles and client-server architecture
- Experience working with REST APIs and tools (Postman, Swagger, DevTools)
- Familiarity with protocols and formats: HTTP, WebSocket, JSON
- Experience writing automated tests and understanding of CI/CD processes (Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)
- Ability to write and run automated tests in Python
- Experience with Unix environments, basic bash, and ability to read logs
- Experience with manual testing at all levels: API, database, business logic
- Advantage: experience or knowledge of finance and trading
- Advantage: familiarity with TradingView
