About the role
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate software applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop effective test strategies
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs through their lifecycle
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Monitor debugging process results and investigate the causes of non-conforming software
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Work alongside expansive engineering teams across Latin America and the United States, contributing to projects in entertainment, financial, and logistics sectors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA automation
- Proven experience in QA automation using Selenium, TestComplete, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and scripting
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing
- Solid understanding of SQL and scripting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for identifying bugs and inconsistencies
- Strong English level
- Nice to have:
- Experience with performance and/or security testing
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins
- Experience with API testing
