About the role

  • Grow the business by using your strong experience in bridge and navigation systems and your maritime network
  • Build trusted customer relationships and lead consultative sales of bridge and navigation solutions from first contact through to contract closure
  • Manage prospective and customer accounts through the full sales cycle in your region
  • Sell primarily to Ship Owners/Ship Operations as well as to a wide range of industry verticals both in the maritime and the enterprise segments
  • Manage your own pipeline and account base in HubSpot CRM
  • Keep HubSpot CRM updated including sales activity, meetings, pipeline, forecasting, etc.
  • Maintain a consistent and lucid line of communication with the customer through diverse channels, such as telephone calls, emails, meetings, and presentations either online or face to face
  • Ability to present demonstrations on services by video conference
  • Assess customers specific needs and pain points and be in position to map the appropriate product solution
  • Accurately calculate quotations, and handle customer procurement matter
  • Gather and report business and market intelligence and industry trends
  • Share customer feedback, and communicate product and service opportunities, with internal teams
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of Tototheo Global products and services
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets and lead contract negotiations
  • Travel 2 - 3 times a year to represent at industry events and conferences
  • Report to the Head of Sales of your region (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results

Requirements

  • Significant sales experience in bridge and navigation systems, with deep knowledge of bridge operations, navigation equipment, and maritime technology
  • A strong and active professional network within the maritime industry, particularly among shipowners, ship managers, operators, and technical decision-makers
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is beneficial
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Experienced in sales, customer service, and providing solutions based on customer needs
  • Ability to analyze and enhance current processes through the implementation of best practices
  • Able to prioritize the tasks according to the company’s and customer’s needs
  • Very good coordination skills and ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment
  • Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information
  • Experience working in fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications as well as a CRM software
  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field
