About the role
- Build and lead a partnerships function targeting physicians, geriatricians, Medicare plans, senior living communities, and other healthcare referral sources
- Develop a structured referral program with clear incentives, tracking, and feedback loops
- Create scalable partnership playbooks that can be executed across new geographies as Total Life expands
- Define and own the brand positioning and messaging for a senior-first mental health platform
- Build a lean, high-output marketing team (content, performance, lifecycle) and manage agencies or contractors as needed
- Drive awareness, consideration, and conversion across paid and organic channels targeting seniors, caregivers, and referral sources
- Own paid acquisition across Google, Meta, and other digital channels — optimizing for member sign-ups and cost efficiency
- Build measurement infrastructure: attribution, dashboards, and reporting so the team can make fast, data-driven decisions
- Drive conversion rate optimization across the website and onboarding funnel
- Lead a comprehensive SEO strategy including technical SEO, content marketing, and local/geographic search targeting
- Build out content that serves seniors, caregivers, and referring clinicians — establishing Total Life as the trusted authority in senior mental health
- Drive long-term organic growth to reduce dependence on paid acquisition over time
- Recruit, hire, and develop a world-class growth team across marketing, partnerships, and digital
- Foster a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous learning
- Work cross-functionally with clinical operations, product, and finance to align growth efforts with company goals
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in growth, marketing, or business development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Demonstrated track record of building and leading multi-channel growth functions — not just managing campaigns
- Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or a highly regulated consumer vertical strongly preferred
- Strong command of performance marketing, SEO, and digital analytics — you know the metrics that matter and how to move them
- Proven ability to develop B2B2C partnership and referral programs, ideally in healthcare or insurance
- A builder's mindset: you are energized by creating structure, processes, and teams from scratch
- Exceptional communicator who can align stakeholders, inspire a team, and represent Total Life externally
- Data-driven decision maker who balances analytical rigor with creative intuition
- Deep empathy for older adults and a genuine belief in the mission of expanding access to mental health care
- A bias towards action and a great attitude.
