About the role

  • Provide support and assistance to operating companies, partners and business units for troubleshooting related to our software solutions and services.
  • Execute incident and problem management according to the ITIL framework in an international environment.
  • Provide SDK and local engineering support for internal and external software partners.
  • Analyze and resolve critical issues as a trouble-shooter in collaboration with the software development team and other stakeholders.
  • Systematically determine root causes using supplied analysis data.
  • Support the development team in handling problem cases and in improving software quality.
  • Contribute to quality assurance by testing new features, software components and patches.
  • Share knowledge and communicate beyond classical support activities.

Requirements

  • Vocational training, e.g. as an IT systems electronics technician (IT-System-Elektroniker), IT specialist in system integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or similar
  • Practical experience supporting software solutions/applications
  • Good knowledge of common Microsoft operating systems and applications, common server operating systems and other OS (macOS, Linux, etc.)
  • Fluent German and English, both spoken and written
  • Strong verbal, didactic and self-learning skills
  • Service-oriented, entrepreneurial way of thinking and acting
