About the role

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform for Compass.
  • Build and enhance capabilities across Employee Center, WSD, HAM, HRSD, ITSM, and SAM.
  • Develop workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI components, catalog items, integrations, and custom applications.
  • Design and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, and related web technologies.
  • Work with HTTP, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to deliver robust integrations and user experiences.
  • Collaborate with product owners, process leads, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate needs into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code, while helping reduce technical debt.
  • Perform testing, deployment support, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and team knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure solutions align with ITIL principles, internal controls, security expectations, and governance standards.

Requirements

  • Preferred 4–6 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in hands-on ServiceNow development in a complex enterprise environment.
  • - Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow platform development and configuration.
  • - Experience in one or more modules: Employee Center, WSD, HAM, HRSD, ITSM, and SAM.
  • - Strong development skills using JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities.
  • - Experience designing and maintaining integrations using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • - Good understanding of HTTP, AJAX, XML, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • - Experience with AngularJS, Node.js, jQuery, Apache Jelly, or React.
  • - Strong coding skills in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
  • - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • - Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • - Strong problem-solving capability, including debugging, optimization, and technical issue resolution.
  • - Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
