About the role
- Install, configure, and maintain Control-M Server, Agent, and Enterprise Manager.
- Create, schedule, and monitor jobs, job flows, and SMART tables.
- Manage prerequisite and post-processing conditions to handle job dependencies.
- Perform daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Control-M jobs.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve job failures.
- Develop and maintain calendars, cyclic jobs, and on-demand job schedules.
- Work with Control-M Automation API / CLI for DevOps integration (CI/CD pipelines).
- Provide production support and ensure SLA adherence for critical jobs.
- Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Act as the onshore point of contact for job scheduling and workload automation support.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Control-M Administration / Workload Automation.
- Strong understanding of Control-M components (Server, Agent, EM, Database).
- Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms.
- Hands-on experience with job scheduling, workload management, and dependencies.
- Strong skills in SQL and shell scripting for troubleshooting.
- Good understanding of batch processing in enterprise IT landscapes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work with onshore/offshore teams.
