About the role
- Maintain the organization's computer systems' workflows
- Support commercial Cloud Service Provider
- Develop technical solutions for managing networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
- Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
- Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell or other tools
- Monitor and tune systems for optimum performance
- Implement standard software and hardware solutions
- Lead data/media recoverability efforts
- Conduct advanced hardware and software audits for compliance
- Ensure performance and security meet network user needs
- Evaluate existing systems and plan long-term strategies
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- Provide On-Call Support 2x per quarter
Requirements
- Education: BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Experience: 10+ years of related experience
- Must be U.S. Citizen with a current and active Top Secret clearance
- Experience with security technical implementation guidelines (STIGs)
- Familiarity with RBAC, zero trust, and privileged access
- Experience automating Windows OS and applications using MECM
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills
- Experience with Microsoft Desired State Configuration (DSC)
- Ability to modify existing PowerShell scripts and create from scratch
- Experience using GIT including creating and merging PRs
- Experience with PKI and federated services for authentication
- Ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation
