About the role
- Participate in real-world design work alongside landscape architects, architects, and engineers
- Contribute to projects including community parks, scenic trails, corporate campuses, courtyards, and plazas
- Perform early site analysis, design development, and assist with final construction documents
- Use tools such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator to develop design deliverables
- Apply classroom knowledge to meaningful project work and see designs implemented in communities
- Engage in trainings, networking, mentorship, social events, and learning seminars as part of internship
- Primarily work from the office with possible flexible/hybrid arrangements
Requirements
- Undergraduate student pursuing Landscape Architecture (BLA/BSLA) or graduate student pursuing Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA)
- Previous training or experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with Civil 3D, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Illustrator is a strong plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Available to work 40 hours per week with occasional overtime during summer 2026 (mid-May through mid-August)
- Must complete pre-employment background screening (Social Security verification, educational verification, criminal convictions review, driving history)
