About the role
- Contract Execution and contract compliance management
- Conduct business reviews and align with strategic sales teams on key IDNs
- Maintain an up-to-date business plan detailing strategy to maintain and grow business
- Grow an established portfolio through education, servicing and proper utilization of current products
- Attend and support local and regional conferences
- Seek, develop, and maintain relationships with key contacts across a large geographic territory
- Provide clinical education and training; participate or lead pre-sales support, assessment and evaluation of new products and services
- Participate or lead post-sales assessment, design, implementation and monitoring of new products and services
- Develop, plan and manage customer training programs and serve as lead consultant/resource to customers
- Make recommendations to drive customer acceptance and utilization of new products and services
- Identify and communicate opportunities for product improvement using direct customer feedback
- Participate and manage customer assessments and assist in developing plan for customer process standardization
- Assist with field and/or classroom training of new Pre-Op Account Managers
- Report customer complaints in accordance with BD’s complaint procedures
- Support BD Commercial Excellence by complying with management rigor focused on growth and using Salesforce
- Train on and consistently apply the BD Way of Selling
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Advanced degree preferred
- 2+ years of relevant Sales/Account Management/Customer Success experience preferred
- Acute Hospital experience preferred
- Clinical work experience and/or educational background preferred
- Expertise with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and planning skills
- Travel – Approximately 60-75% of work time (including overnights)
- Must possess and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license with 3 years of consecutive driving history and meet BD’s auto safety standards
- Ability to comply with BD’s Code of Ethics, BD Way, and company policies
