About the role
- Lead the end-to-end rollout of Asana across the organization, including discovery, design, configuration, testing, and launch
- Design scalable Asana structures including teams, projects, portfolios, workflows, rules, automations, and reporting
- Translate business processes into efficient, standardized Asana workflows across functions (Engineering, Product, Marketing, Operations, HR, etc.)
- Establish governance, naming conventions, templates, and usage standards to ensure long-term scalability
- Act as the change leader for the Asana rollout, ensuring strong adoption and sustained usage
- Partner with executive sponsors and department leaders to align Asana usage with business goals
- Identify change risks and resistance points, and proactively address them through communication, training, and reinforcement
- Define success metrics for adoption, efficiency, and impact
- Develop and deliver role-based training for all employees, including individual contributors, managers and program leaders, and executive leadership
- Create documentation, playbooks, onboarding guides, and best-practice resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve workflows
- Assess current project and program management maturity and recommend improvements
- Optimize Asana usage over time based on feedback, metrics, and evolving business needs
- Support integrations with tools such as Slack, Jira, Salesforce, Google Workspace, or others as applicable
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in project, program, or work management roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Asana at scale
- Proven experience leading enterprise or multi-team Asana rollouts
- Strong background in organizational change management and user adoption
- Demonstrated ability to train and influence employees at all levels of the organization
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to translate complex processes into simple, scalable workflows.
