About the role
- Generate and execute sales plans with new and existing customers to achieve growth targets.
- Work closely with current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation strategies to drive sales growth.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant and facility executives, to foster long-term partnerships.
- Provide on-site and virtual technical support to customers by identifying and resolving challenges and escalating issues as needed.
- Support clients with repairs and maintenance to uphold our chemistry/equipment programs.
- Engage in problem-solving by conducting system analyses, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing comprehensive training on Cesco products, verifying proper application equipment functionality, and troubleshooting operational issues.
- Actively promote and support Cesco innovations and technology within assigned accounts to strengthen long-term business relationships.
- Must be willing to travel as needed (50-70%) throughout the region.
Requirements
- 5+ years in the wastewater treatment industry, with a primary focus on customer accounts and sales.
- Must have technical knowledge of wastewater treatment plants, including a variety of experience in food and beverage, mining, oil and gas, or related.
- Must sit in Ohio, Michigan or Indiana.
- 5-10 years experience selling chemical solutions (preferred).
- Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or related field (preferred).
