About the role
- Generate qualified pipeline through outbound prospecting — email, phone, LinkedIn, and events
- Qualify inbound interest and route opportunities effectively to the Director of New Business
- Develop and test outbound sequences and messaging in close collaboration with the AE and marketing
- Conduct early-stage discovery calls to assess fit, educate prospects on the product category, and create urgency
- Maintain clean, accurate pipeline and activity data in Salesforce
- Help build the SDR playbook for this product line
- Represent ThoughtSpot at field events, conferences, and community gatherings relevant to the agentic AI space
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in a sales development, inside sales, or similar quota-carrying role in B2B SaaS
- Genuine curiosity about AI
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Self-starter in an ambiguous environment
- Coachable and competitive
- Experience selling or prospecting into analytics, data, AI/ML, or automation products (nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with modern outbound tools (Outreach, Salesloft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Clay, etc.) (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to enterprise sales cycles and multi-threading within accounts (nice-to-have)
