About the role
- Provide **day-to-day support, administration, and monitoring** of clients’ AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in **weekly status calls** with clients to review open issues, planned changes, and improvement recommendations.
- Assist in designing and developing **automation solutions** for monitoring, scaling, and managing cloud workloads.
- Configure and tune AWS-native and third-party tools focused on **cost optimization, security, and compliance**.
- Prepare and present **monthly operational and performance reports** for client environments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to compute, storage, networking, IAM, and deployments in AWS.
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes using internal service management tools.
- Ensure cloud infrastructures follow **best practices** for reliability, scalability, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud operations or cloud engineering.
- Strong understanding of AWS services such as: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS.
- Experience designing or maintaining IaC templates using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows system administration.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language: Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring, cost management, and security tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, CloudHealth, Prisma, Dome9).
- Experience with ticketing tools and Incident/Change Management processes.
