About the role
- As HR Director at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be a strategic business partner supporting organizational success through effective people strategies.
- Working closely with senior leadership, you'll translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives that help build and retain a talented, diverse workforce.
- You'll guide organizational development efforts across global teams, facilitate change management, and cultivate an inclusive culture built on our 4i values (Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement).
- This position requires a thoughtful approach to talent management, using data-driven insights to enhance business capabilities while maintaining a positive workplace culture.
- You'll serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on complex HR matters, from performance management to organizational design, supporting business growth through effective people strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Preferred Fields of Study: Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field
- 8 years of experience in comprehensive HR experience in large multinational organizations, with demonstrated success as an HR business partner
- PHR/SPHR or other professional HR certifications desirable
- Ability to translate business strategies into effective HR solutions and organizational actions
- Experience building and leading teams in a global matrix environment
- Strong knowledge of HR functions including talent acquisition, total rewards, organizational development, and employee relations
- Demonstrated success implementing change management initiatives and organizational design solutions
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, PPI)
- Advanced project management, analytical, and data interpretation skills
- Strong communication and presentation abilities
- Business acumen with ability to link HR strategies to business outcomes
- Expertise in contemporary HR practices and employment law
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate high emotional intelligence
- Demonstrated ability to advise and coach senior leaders
- Travel up to 25-30% internationally as needed
