About the role

  • Lead the supply chain strategy and operating cadence for the Clinical NGS portfolio, aligning a multi-year roadmap with growth plans, new product introductions (NPI), and lifecycle changes across oncology, reproductive health, and custom menu services
  • Own integrated SIOP planning processes (demand, supply, capacity, and inventory), including regular reviews, clear decision forums, and escalation routines that enable timely trade-off decisions
  • Strengthen supply continuity and reduce supply risk across internal and external partners through proactive risk identification, scenario planning, and cross-functional mitigation plans
  • Expand digital supply chain capabilities by partnering with IT, Data Analytics, and cross-functional teams to implement scalable tools and automation that improve forecasting accuracy, inventory decisions, supply risk visibility, and end-to-end performance management
  • Define inventory policies and planning parameters that balance customer delivery and working capital; reduce excess and obsolete inventory through disciplined planning and lifecycle controls
  • Partner with Global Manufacturing sites, Procurement, and Logistics to improve plan stability, lead times, and service performance across the end-to-end network
  • Support NPI supply readiness, including materials strategy, supplier readiness, planning setup, and effective transitions to routine production
  • Improve planning systems, data quality, and reporting by partnering with IT and analytics teams to enable clear visibility, consistent metrics, and strong data integrity within ERP/MRP and planning tools
  • Lead continuous improvement using Practical Process Improvement (PPI) and structured problem solving; standardize processes and coach teams on consistent ways of working
  • Develop and lead a global team of direct and matrixed resources; set clear expectations, build capability, and foster an inclusive and engaged culture
  • Communicate performance, risks, and mitigation plans in clear business terms to senior leaders and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements, including ISO 13485 expectations, and support internal and external audits as needed

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Materials Management, or another related field, MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of relevant supply chain management experience, with at least 7 years of people management experience
  • Specific experience in Materials Management and Planning
  • Experience leading integrated planning and inventory management across multi-site or multi-node networks
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (medical device, IVD, biotechnology, or similar) and partnering effectively with quality systems teams
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrix organization across functions and geographies
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP and Advanced Planning environments and the ability to improve data quality and planning discipline
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex supply chain topics to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to travel up to 25%, including international
  • Professional certifications (ASCM/APICS CPIM/CSCP, ISM, PMI) and/or Lean / Six Sigma credentials are preferred.
