About the role

  • Support Patheon’s Drug Product and API Services by negotiating a variety of client-facing agreements globally
  • Draft, negotiate, and document completed client contracts
  • Develop rapport with internal participants, providing direction and mentorship related to the contracting process
  • Strive to make the contracting process and tools more efficient, effective, and customer centric
  • Negotiate supplier-facing agreements as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferably in Business or Life Sciences)
  • MBA and/or JD /LLB or very strong demonstrated negotiation experience in the pharmaceutical industry (clinical and/or commercial) highly preferred
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Consistent record negotiating complex contractual language
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Superior communication skills with working knowledge of MS Office Applications
  • Ability to assess needs of business and design and implement creative and durable solutions
  • Ability to drive outcomes in a professional and constructive manner
  • Experience in FDA-regulated industries a plus
