About the role
- Establish and improve a scalable, division-wide PPM governance framework
- Define and standardize methodologies, tools, metrics, and performance expectations
- Ensure consistent application of phase-gate governance, risk management, and change control
- Lead executive portfolio and governance forums
- Drive operational excellence by increasing portfolio visibility, predictability, and throughput
- Provide enterprise-level insight into program health, capacity, risk, and financial outlook
- Partner with Finance, Commercial, and Operations leaders
- Establish and lead the customer experience governance model
- Own and manage above-site escalation pathways in partnership with commercial
- Provide functional leadership and matrix oversight to site-level PPM leaders
- Collaborate with PPM leaders across Pharma Services and Thermo Fisher
- Lead with integrity, inclusion, and accountability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
- 12+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical, CDMO, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience designing and leading portfolio and governance operating models
- Success leading matrixed, multi-site organizations
- Strong executive presence, communication, and influence skills
- Financial and operational acumen across complex portfolios
- Ability to travel 25% - domestic and international
