About the role

  • Identify and prioritize new customer opportunities and develop strategies to implement solutions and drive growth.
  • Increase market share within existing accounts by identifying under-penetrated areas, demonstrating CMD's value proposition, designing appropriate solutions, and closing opportunities.
  • Lead and maintain account relationships to drive expansion and renewals across the CMD portfolio (analytical instruments, consumables, services); provide product assistance, advice and troubleshooting support to customers as needed, and expedite orders.
  • Identify, document, and validate the best technology choice to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare quotes, negotiate contracts, and close orders with end users and procurement teams, supporting the entire procurement process.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends.
  • Present new products and services as they become available.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific discipline (preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
  • More than 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably in analytical instruments markets, with a track record of meeting sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Strong market knowledge and an established professional network.
  • Experience conducting on-site customer seminars and technical presentations.
  • Demonstrated commercial experience in a matrixed organizational environment.
  • Proficiency with computer tools (MS Office, CRM).
  • Ability to explain and sell the technical aspects of the product portfolio.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites up to 50%.
