About the role

  • work directly with divisional commercial leaders, our corporate leadership team, and customer C-Suite executives
  • develop and execute partnership account strategies for our most strategic customers
  • create innovative solutions that showcase Thermo Fisher's comprehensive capabilities and deliver substantial value to both parties
  • manage Account Management Teams in a collaborative, matrix environment
  • facilitate alignment on partnership strategies
  • work across Thermo Fisher's full suite of products and capabilities while collaborating with senior leaders and strategic customers
  • translate customer insights into meaningful partnership opportunities
  • negotiate complex agreements
  • serve as the primary interface between strategic partners and Thermo Fisher

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering
  • Experience working in matrix environments and aligning diverse stakeholder interests
  • Strong business and financial acumen, including P&L understanding and complex deal structuring capability
  • Experience managing large pharmaceutical accounts
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain C-level relationships both internally and externally
  • Advanced negotiation skills for large, sophisticated deal structures
  • Leadership experience managing account management teams preferred (direct line management)
  • Experience creating inclusive, collaborative team environments
  • Adaptability in dynamic business conditions
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to Thermo Fisher's 4i values: Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Ability to travel internationally to customer locations – between 50-75% of working time
