Repair, install, and maintain a variety of laboratory equipment products including incubators, centrifuges, cold storage (refrigerators and freezers), and other equipment as needed.
Schedules and completes detailed preventative maintenance and corrective service to ensure peak uptime of customer equipment.
Provide onsite service training to Biomedical Engineering Technicians (BMET) or advanced operators.
Submit expenses and manage trunk stock inventory in a timely and accurate manner.
Document daily service actions through the company work order database.
Maintains courteous and knowledgeable communication with customers to ensure alignment of all aspects of the service events (status, cost, scheduling, etc.).
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree or equivalent experience in Electronics or Engineering field preferred
EPA Certification preferred
1+ year of experience in field service, depot repair, manufacturing facilities or equivalent, servicing medical devices or laboratory equipment, etc.
Strong electronic/electrical and mechanical background preferred
Refrigeration experience a plus
Experience working with basic test equipment such as DMM, tachometer, temperature devices, etc.
Hands-on Refrigeration experience preferred
