About the role
- Creation of design and engineering documentation for low-voltage system implementation in high end residences
- Produce a bill of materials (BOM) for proposals (DTools Cloud)
- Understand and use design software (Bluebeam, DTools/Visio at minimum; ideally CAD and/or Revit)
- Apply deep understanding of signal flow, networks, lighting/shading systems, and control systems
- Understand the built environment and phases of construction projects
- Collaborate with sales team and interact directly with clients to design and deliver residential technology systems
Requirements
- +3yrs of Experience with Residential AV & Low-Voltage systems design and creation of documentation
- Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation or residential technology systems using tools such as Portal, DTools/Visio, CAD, Revit, Bluebeam
- Deep knowledge of Control Systems (Crestron, C4 & Savant), Lighting/Shading systems (Lutron), and Networks
- A steady work history (3yrs between hops)
- A pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
