• Verify timesheets and calculate gross to net pay.
• Maintain and update payroll records including new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, and benefit deductions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable wage and hour laws, including overtime and minimum wage requirements.
• Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, taxes, and timekeeping.
• Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee records and payroll information.
• Ensure compliance across multiple Union contracts and AG Wage Order contracts.
• Ensure garnishment compliance.
• Maintain check registers and positive pay files for accuracy.

Data Analyst

• The Business Analytics, Manager position is an integral part of the Insights Center of Excellence (COE) at The Wine Group.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs for information and insights and translate that into an intuitive and actionable reporting suite.
• Drive report adoption through live or virtual trainings, explaining key metric definitions, report capabilities, and analysis outcomes.
• Manage and improve data governance to ensure high levels of data accuracy and instill high levels of trust from the users of the report.
• Prepare data for analysis, interpret results and present findings to the commercial organization.
