About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The Business Analytics, Manager position is an integral part of the Insights Center of Excellence (COE) at The Wine Group.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs for information and insights and translate that into an intuitive and actionable reporting suite.
Drive report adoption through live or virtual trainings, explaining key metric definitions, report capabilities, and analysis outcomes.
Manage and improve data governance to ensure high levels of data accuracy and instill high levels of trust from the users of the report.
Prepare data for analysis, interpret results and present findings to the commercial organization.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree is ideally in a quantitative or technical field.
5+ years of technical experience in data reporting.
Expert knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerBI.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of various data sources in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry like Circana, Nielsen, VIP, etc.
Strong organizational, critical thinking and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to professional integrity.
Able to execute multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
