Account Manager

• Act as the central point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and seamless project management
• Build trusted relationships with clients, agencies, internal teams, and third-party partners
• Lead the development, execution, and optimization of multi-platform advertising campaigns
• Develop a deep understanding of clients’ industries, business priorities, and competitive landscapes
• Provide ongoing post-sale support, including performance insights, strategic recommendations, and campaign troubleshooting
• Oversee project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards across all campaign components
• Advocate for client needs internally while balancing feasibility, efficiency, and The Washington Post’s strategic priorities
• Partner with Sales, Ad Operations, Product, Design, Content, and Social Strategy to deliver high-performance campaigns
• Analyze and interpret campaign data to optimize performance and inform strategic recommendations
• Deliver post-campaign reporting with insights, outcomes, and opportunities for continued partnership
• Identify renewal, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities across The Washington Post portfolio
• Support process improvements and best practices across account and project management
• Troubleshoot technical and campaign-related issues related to bidding, pacing, targeting, pricing, and optimization
• Collaborate directly with DSP and SSP partners when needed to resolve issues and enhance performance

Strategic Account Manager

Client Partner

• Lead strategic sales efforts across The Post’s most valuable Technology and B2B sectors accounts such as IBM, Samsung, Indeed and Meta to deliver sustained, multi-million-dollar revenue growth
• Build and execute comprehensive account plans that align client objectives with The Post’s full suite of media and data capabilities including custom content, live events, audio, video, and programmatic solutions
• Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers (C-suite, VP, and Director level) across marketing, brand, comms and media functions
• Partner with internal strategy, creative, and operations teams to design and deliver integrated campaigns that achieve measurable business outcomes
• Anticipate industry trends and advise clients on new opportunities where The Post’s platforms can deliver a competitive advantage
• Prospect and secure new enterprise-level relationships while expanding revenue streams across existing accounts
• Serve as a category expert and market voice, representing The Washington Post at key client meetings, industry events, and thought-leadership forums
• Provide market feedback to inform product innovation, audience strategy, and commercial partnerships
• Report on sales performance, forecasting, and pipeline health with precision and accountability.

Product Marketing

• Shape and evolve Arc XP’s AI narrative, helping customers and the market understand the value, trust, and outcomes of AI-driven capabilities within the platform
• Own product marketing strategy for key areas of Arc XP’s platform and AI-powered capabilities, contributing to a cohesive platform narrative aligned to company objectives and revenue goals
• Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new products and major enhancements, including positioning, launch planning, cross-functional alignment, and measurement
• Define and evolve positioning, messaging, and narrative across buyer personas, industries, and regions, ensuring consistency across customer touchpoints
• Define messaging and enablement for complex buying groups spanning technical, business, and executive stakeholders in long-cycle enterprise sales motions
• Serve as the voice of the market and customer, synthesizing insights from customers, sales, partners, and analysts to inform product strategy and investment decisions
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to translate customer needs into compelling product stories that drive adoption and growth
• Serve as the primary product marketing partner to Partner and Customer Marketing teams, ensuring consistent positioning and value messaging
• Own sales enablement strategy and effectiveness, ensuring sales and partners are equipped to successfully sell and differentiate Arc XP’s offerings
• Collaborate with Demand Gen, Brand, Content, and Growth teams to integrate product messaging into campaigns that drive pipeline and expansion
• Define and track success metrics for launches and GTM initiatives, including pipeline influence, adoption, sales effectiveness, and contributions to retention and analyst engagement
• Drive pricing, packaging, and monetization strategy in close partnership with Finance and Product Management
• Mentor and develop other product marketers, contributing to team growth and best practices
• Drive operational excellence by building scalable processes and best practices
