About the role
- Support translation of business needs to the product solution in support of project delivery and success
- Partner with teams to understand and document business requirements
- Participate in functional and technical design sessions
- Partner with business and technology teams to build business models
- Create documentation (requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, functional design documents, process flows)
- Participate in agile ceremonies (scrum, sprint planning, demos)
- Partner with technical implementation teams to confirm what is built aligns to requirements
- Support traceability of business requirements through technical specs and test cases
- Work with the business to confirm test scenarios, validate design, test data & results
- Execute testing including developing, reviewing or executing test scripts, test results, defect triage
- Validate product to acceptance criteria
- Provide inputs into the RAID log; proactively identify issues and analyze options to resolve; work with project management
- Collaborate with partners across the organization including business partners, solution architects, and delivery managers
- Build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders across the enterprise
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of overall Enterprise Resource Planning experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience supporting Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) systems and projects
- Proven track record of participating in software projects in finance value chains on a large scale
- Experience with FP&A business processes & software
- Experience with Business Architecture practice and methodologies
- Experience participating in matrixed project teams including architects, developers, operations, PMs, business analysts, and vendor partners
- Experience with agile software development and full SDLC
- Prior experience of working in a Media environment is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication, consensus-building, and presentation skills
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills; ability to communicate to technical and business audiences
- Ability to break down and solve complex problems; demonstrates resilience and perseverance
