Build and maintain high scale Golang backend APIs to power DASH and HLS VOD and live dynamic ad insertion playback across Disney’s streaming applications.
Develop infrastructure and deploy maintain highly available distributed systems via AWS with tooling like Spinnaker and Kubernetes.
Write design documents for new systems, contribute to team pull requests and documentation and actively participate in team agile ceremonies.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of software development experience preferably with Golang.
Experience building scalable, fault-tolerant, high-uptime systems in a cloud native environment - preferably AWS cloud.
Experience designing and building backend APIs.
Strong understanding of OO design patterns and concepts.
Experience with maintaining large code bases with version control, testing flows and monitoring tools.
Excellent communication, collaboration skills and a strong teamwork ethic.
