Build and maintain cloud automation and developer tooling that supports provisioning, deployment, and operations in AWS
Create and evolve reusable infrastructure as code modules and patterns that teams can safely adopt
Improve reliability and operability through observability, alerting, and actionable signals over noise
Participate in incident response, investigations, and RCAs, then turn learnings into permanent platform improvements
Partner with teams to unblock delivery by improving platform capabilities and developer experience, including documentation and paved road workflows

Requirements

3+ years of professional software engineering experience, or equivalent practical experience
Experience building on public cloud, preferably AWS
Experience with Terraform Cloud / Terraform Enterprise
Experience writing production quality code in at least one general purpose language such as Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript
Hands on experience with infrastructure as code and automation workflows, Terraform preferred
Understanding of CI CD concepts and how to build repeatable delivery pipelines
Working knowledge of Linux and container-based workloads
Solid fundamentals in networking and distributed systems, including VPC concepts, DNS, TLS, and service to service connectivity
Ability to balance security, reliability, and delivery by proposing pragmatic solutions with clear tradeoffs
Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Comfort operating in ambiguity, shifting priorities, and a fast-changing environment
BS Computer Science or related technical discipline or its equivalent
