About the role
- Provides administrative and program support for all labor contracts in effect at UVM Medical Center, Central Vermont Medical Center, and Porter Medical Center.
- Scheduling grievance and other key Labor meetings.
- Supporting grievance response preparation and distribution.
- Sending documents to the unions as required.
- Compiling and distributing contract-required reports.
Requirements
- College Degree in Business, HR, or relative field preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
- Minimum of two to three years of experience in a Human Resources role preferred.
- Three to five years in an administrative support role desired.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
- Customer service orientation with ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt and reprioritize quickly under fast-paced and changing business conditions.
- Experience in a union setting helpful.
