About the role
- Lead complex data integration implementations, including configuration, testing, and coordination with internal and external partners
- Serve as a business consultant to internal teams, policyholders, and brokers, educating and advocating for data integration capabilities (APIs, SSO, EDI)
- Manage and resolve high‑complexity integration issues, providing root cause analysis and subject matter expertise
- Conduct process gap analyses and partner with leadership to define priorities and execute the data integration roadmap
- Represent the organization in customer presentations, finalist meetings, and vendor partnerships while providing informal leadership and mentoring
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in systems administration, group insurance benefits, and customer‑facing project management within the health benefits industry
- Experience with API configuration using Adeptia or similar graphical user interface tools
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and database querying tools such as SQL Server or TOAD
- Enrollment or absence case configuration experience with Workday, Selerix, ADP, PlanSource, or other benefits administration systems
- Ability to travel 5–10% as needed
