About the role
- Involved in the full remit of HR practices and processes
- Partner with Mecca Venues Operations Leadership team
- Develop and deliver an effective people strategy
- Support recruitment, retention and development of talent
- Ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements
- Analyse key people metrics to identify trends and improve performance
- Work with operational teams to build a team culture
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge and experience of HR
- Solid employment law knowledge
- Experience in HR in a retail, leisure or hospitality environment
- Background in multi-site/regional/field-based role
- Experience of partnering at a senior level
- Experience of developing and delivering transformational people strategies
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and provide constructive feedback
- Experience across a wide range of HR disciplines
- Solid relationship building and influencing skills
- Experience of working in a unionised environment (desirable)
- CIPD (desirable)
